What should I bring with me?

Passport, towel, sun block and swim wear are a must.  Also, you may want to bring money in case you want to purchase merchandise or other items on board.

As all inside areas are air conditioned a light outer clothing may be sensible.

What shall I wear?

Informal comfortable clothes with a swim suit.  Flat shoes to avoid slipping.  In the winter remember to bring along a warm top for after swimming/snorkelling.  Remeber the inside areas are all air conditioned so you may want a light outer top if you feel the code.  We do request that during dinner you put clothes on rather than just wearing swim wear.

Yes this excursion is family friendly.  Children really enjoy the underwater viewing stations.  Even small children who are not yet old enough to snorkel get to see the unique Red Sea Marine life.  Child friendly food is available on the open buffet.

Can I try snorkeling even if it is my first time and can't swim?

Our team of PADI Certified Guides are qualified to teach you the basics of snorkeling so that you feel comfortable in the water and with the equipment.  But if you are not a swimmer there is no need to worry our guides will provide you with a life vest.

Should I bring my own snorkel gear?

Snorkel equipment is available on board however, if you do have your own equipment then we would recommend you bring it on board as you may feel more comfortable with familiar equipment.

I have had sea sickness in the past what should I do?

We recommend you consult a doctor if you suffer from severe sea sickness.  However, if you have had mild forms before you can take non perscription anti sea sickness tablets before boarding or wear ‘sea bands’ which work on accupressure basis.  That said the Nautilus Fleet provide stable platforms.

Is there an area to sunbathe?

The upper deck provides ample sunbathing space. Just remember to put on plenty of sunblock and don’t forget your feet and ears!
